Huber Matos was Fidel Castro`s General in the Cuban revolution, but later when he was not willing to accept Castro`s Communist views he was imprisoned for 20 years.
In 1979, after his release, he emigrated to the USA. The former revolutionary, who currently lives in Florida, emphasized the importance of democratic and peaceful transformation. According to him, changes that have taken place in Hungary since 1989 could serve as a positive example to make much-needed changes in Cuba.
