Fellow workers of the Szent Ferenc Foundation in Brussels

Kinga Gál, received the second group of colleagues of Csaba Böjte who was awarded in 2011 with the European Citizen Price. The participants of the journey were the workers of the childcare houses operated by the Szent Ferenc Foundation, foster parents and teachers from various places in Transylvania.

As the highlight of the two-day program the participants were given the opportunity to meet personally the hosting MEP, which occasion led to a two-hour long discussion, because of the many questions asked. Kinga Gál thanked the work of the visitors which is very often invisible to the outsiders, but assures that 2500 children in the institutions of the Szent Ferenc Foundation are raised, given warm food and love, therefore a chance for life.

Besides the Parliament, the group also visited the main sights of Brussels, and made a trip to Leuven on the next day.
