"Our ageing European society cannot avoid integrating the more than 80 million people with disabilities into the education and labour market in order to manage current and upcoming employment challenges", said EPP Group MEP Ádám Kósa, host of today's EPP Group Hearing on Inclusion and Mobility of People with Disabilities. Organized by MEP Kinga Gál (EPP-Fidesz) and the Hungarian Presidency, a conference on national and linguistic minorities took place in the European Parliament. The Hungarian Presidency representing the Council, the European Commission, the Fundamental Rights Agency, another European international institution, the Council of Europe and several NGOs debated the possibilities of the enhancement of minority rights.
