    The winners of the International Hungarian Mathematics Competition visited Brussels

    The 20th International Hungarian Mathematics Competition for high school students was organized in Bonyhád in 2011. On this competition the most talented Hungarian pupils in Mathematics participate from all around the Carpathian Basin. This program has an important role in the development of Hungarian-Hungarian contacts as well as in the talent support in the Carpathian Basin. The winners of the competition in 2011 and their teachers were invited to a short trip to Brussels by Kinga Gál MEP in the October 2011.

    The members and the contributors of the Independent Police Complaints Commission (Független Rendészeti Panasztestület) visited Brussels between 23- 25 May 2011 on the invitation of Kinga Gál. The MEP welcomed the group in the European Parliament, presented her work and after this the participants joined to meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

    Kinga GÁL MEP meets the South Tyrolean Youth Ring

    In February 2011, MEP Herbert Dorfmann invited the South Tyrolean Youth Ring, the umbrella group of all South Tyrolean youth organisations, at the European Parliament for several meetings with different EU-politicians and members of the European Commission. The Youth Ring had the possibility to meet MEP Kinga Gal, chairwoman of the Intergroup Minorities, and MEP Doris Pack, chairwoman of the Cultural Committee, who shared their opinion about current minority issues in Europe.
