The committee lead by Mr Schultz Martin, the president of the European Parliament published the list of the winners of the European Citizens Prize 2012. Reverend János Székely who has conducted oustanding work among Roma people in Hungary will receive the prize based on the nomination made by Kinga Gál MEP.

Father Csaba Böjte, invited by Kinga Gál MEP (Fidesz EPP), arrived at the Award Ceremony for the European Citizens' Prize that took place in the European Parliament with twenty of his colleagues, leaders of Day Care Centres and Residential Homes run by the foundation, as the award was in recognition of their work as well.
