At the plenary session of the European Parliament, in the debate about development in Latin-America, HU MEP Kinga GÁL (EPP) said that it is crucial to raise human rights requirements when negotiating cooperation agreements. MEP GÁL reminded the plenary of the case of Előd TÓÁSÓ, a Hungarian man who has been in pretrial detention in Bolivia for more than 3 years now.
