The use of mother tongue is crucial for minority communities
"The right to mother tongue education is the key condition for the survival of national minority communities" - stated Martii Oiva Kalevi Ahtisaari, the Nobel Prize awarded Finnish politician (2008), former president of Finland (1994–2000) on a conference in Brussels. After the event MEP Kinga Gál (Fidesz) and the Finnish politician discussed problems and challenges faced by the Hungarian national minority communities.
