Deficiency in the operation of the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice

Tavares-report „disjointed”
The Hungarian EPP delegation led by Kinga Gál MEP has just submitted nearly 200 amendments to the draft Tavares-report. The group of MEPs of FIDESZ will do their best to avoid the adoption of the Tavares-report containing prejudiced and serious errors in it’s present form.

„The Tavares-report is unacceptable”
"The draft report on the situation of the fundamental rights and the rule of law in Hungary submitted to the competent committee of the EP on Tuesday by rapporteur Rui Tavares MEP is utterly unacceptable", said Kinga Gál Hungarian MEP (EPP - FIDESZ) to journalists before the EP’s LIBE committee meeting in Brussels.
