The European Citizen Prizes were handed over in Brussels

Today was the official award ceremony for the European Citizen Prize in the European Parliament. The award winners where hosted by the nominating Members of Parliament. The National Association of Large Families (NOE from Hungary) was represented by its president: Katalin Kardosné Gyurkó, who was accompanied by Kinga Gál and György Hölvényi MEPs.

The Prizes were handed out by one of the Parliaments vice president. It has been given by the EP since 2008 for the people and organizations, who have achieved outstanding results in the spreading of EU values, bringing EU citizens closer to one another, or by helping the integration between the member states through specific programs.
